Renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal power, offer a sustainable alternative to non-renewable sources of energy, such as coal and oil. They have the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the effects of climate change. Solar energy is one of the most widely used sources of renewable energy. It involves the conversion of sunlight into electricity using solar panels. Wind energy is another popular source, which harnesses the power of wind to generate electricity through wind turbines. Hydroelectric power uses the force of flowing water to generate electricity, while geothermal power uses the heat from the Earth's core to produce energy. Despite the benefits of renewable energy, there are still challenges to its widespread adoption. One of the main challenges is the high initial cost of installation and infrastructure. However, over time, the cost of renewable energy has decreased significantly, making it more accessible to consumers.
