Xenophobia has accelerated rapidly in the western countries. According to you, what solutions can be proposed by the government and individuals for eradication of this problem?
The search of better employment opportunities and a better living has exacerbated xenophobia among those countries' citizens. It is critical to find a solution in order to protect the interests of foreign nationals. To combat xenophobia, both the government and individuals, in my opinion, should collaborate. In this essay, I will first analyze the problem before presenting some solutions. Certain people may perceive people from various cultures as frightening. The fear and dislike of strangers or outsiders is known as xenophobia. Fear of losing one's identity and a desire to rid oneself of foreigners in order to maintain a semblance of purity often resulted in discriminating attitudes and conduct toward outsiders. Their distinctive clothing and language frequently make others suspicious, resulting in discriminatory attitudes, aggression, and various forms of abuse. Nonetheless, xenophobia can be overcome with a methodical approach of steps and procedures. The first step is to establish an authorized organization to investigate the situation. Hate speeches, articles, and conduct should be made illegal, and strict laws should be implemented to give a clear message that xenophobia is not tolerated. Another option is to implement a workplace equality policy. In a nutshell, we can deal with xenophobia by taking such efforts, but both the government and individuals must work together to abolish it. Respect for immigrants and refugees should be promoted in schools, government institutions, hospitals, businesses, and public spaces.
