All automobiles will be driverless in the future. There will only be passengers in them. I think adopting autonomous cars can help businesses save money, and this benefit surpasses any potential drawbacks by a wide margin. Self-driving automobiles may have several drawbacks, including the potential for significant job losses. Nowadays, a large number of people in many nations, whether they are truckers, bus drivers, or delivery couriers, make a job by driving. Imagine if autonomous vehicles replace all of these workers. The unemployment rates in these nations would drastically increase as a result. However, I believe that if drivers reskill in order to find employment in a different industry, this can be prevented. Positively, driverless automobiles might enable companies to cut back on operating costs. This is because they wouldn't need to engage drivers to deliver their goods or services to clients if they had these autos. For instance, the American logistics firm UPS today employs hundreds of thousands of truck drivers and pays them an average salary of 1 million dollars yearly, which equates to tens of billions of dollars. The elimination of these astronomical salary payments would result from the use of autonomous vehicles to replace human drivers. Because businesses may invest the money they save on labor in other areas of their operations, perhaps leading to customers receiving cheaper, higher-quality items, I believe this could have a significant positive impact on society as a whole. As a result, even if many jobs would be lost as a result of self-driving cars, I think this disadvantage is greatly offset by the possibility that these cars could help businesses cut operational expenses.
