In this essay, I'll discuss why I concur with the notion that applicants' social abilities are more important than their academic achievements. The advantages of having strong social skills for job seekers are obvious. First of all, in today's world, effective communication is essential for work success. This is primarily due to the fact that frequent connection with other individuals, whether in person or online, best captures the 21st century. Second, the ability to sell goods or services is crucial to any business and calls for great interpersonal abilities. For instance, a worker with strong interpersonal skills can make an impression on customers or clients, which can lead to the perception of high value for the company's goods or services. Additionally, people with stronger social skills tend to be more laid-back, which is crucial for the job and for the employer as well. After all, socially adept workers are necessary for a pleasant workplace. On the other hand, some businesses can assert that having a degree is a requirement for employment. Evidently, many jobs call for specific academic credentials. However, in today's world, more and more employers are realizing that the success of a company depends on its ability to acquire the outcomes it needs from its personnel. It is clear that in this case, qualifications are not very important. In conclusion, I think social skills among employees are crucial for a business or organization. Additionally, I advise hiring managers to prioritize applicants' social skills since I feel this will benefit the business in the long run and have a favorable effect.
